Hysteroscopy

During a hysteroscopy, a thin, lighted telescope is inserted through the cervix into the uterus so that the physician can view the uterine cavity.

This non-invasive technique is performed in an outpatient setting under general or local anesthesia with minimal discomfort after surgery.

If fibroids, intrauterine adhesions, or scarring are found, they can be easily diagnosed and treated.
